These features provide a durable shank, helping to eliminate premature failure. Titanium Aluminum Nitride (TiAlN) coating across the entire geometry of the bit also helps deliver 5x longer life. Milwaukee designed these bits with a Rapid Strike tip to prevent walking and deliver fast, accurate starts that generate less heat. This Rapid Strike tip, paired with a dual spiral flute design, allow the bits to produce 2x faster holes.
